Immigration today is different than it was before the cops are starting to be known as the bad guys. In the story about Gilmer Hernandez he stopped a car for running a stop sign and made a statement that there were at least 8 or 9 people in the car under and in between the seats. When he knocked on the window of the driver, the driver run off and Gilmer shot the car 6 times but said he shot 4 times. He ended up shooting a women in the back seat and was then chargered in jail for 1 year and a day. He is now known as a criminal.

1. Choose one of the immigration issues you learned about in the "Immigration Today" lesson with Mrs. DeSantis. You wil be creating a Voicethread (combination of visuals and audio) to comment on one of these issues.
2. Research your topic via the internet. Find at least three websites as resources for your information and images. You must add these links to your wiki page as "resources used" for your final project. Find a minimum of four images that represent immigration issues today. Use voicethread.com to place these images in a "thread". Once you have selected and added your images, you will create a "script" in your digital notebook. DO NOT record your voice until you have a scipt written out in your notebook!

tell why, in your opinion, it is an important issue
